Retail Case Study
Dublin Airport Terminal 2, Swords, Co Dublin
Construction started on the 1st October 2007 on Dublin Airport’s terminal 2 building and infrastructure and it was officially opened on 19 November 2010 by the then Taoiseach Brian Cowen T.D. Dublin Airport Terminal 2 is one of Ireland’s busiest airport terminals welcoming over 130 million passengers to-date.
Castlerock, working on behalf of Failte Ireland, completed a new retail information hub at Terminal 2. This complex project was successfully managed by our leadership team with just over 93% of the project’s requirements and specification from Failte Ireland completed on time and within budget. All work was delivered at the highest possible standards.
We are very proud of the work Castlerock completed at Dublin Airport Terminal 2 and really enjoyed working with the team at Failte Ireland. Every year millions of airport users will be passing through Terminal 2 availing of the information from Failte Ireland in a setting provided by Castlerock.
